What we do

Family profiles are never public. Children's details are limited to an approximate age and an optional nickname. Locations are approximate and contact details are only shared when you choose to share them.

Every profile and conversation has a report option, and you can block another family at any time. A blocked family can no longer message you.

What we do not do

Build a Village facilitates introductions between adults but does not perform background checks. We do not verify identities, and nobody on Build a Village should be treated as identity-verified.

Please use your own judgement: meet in public places first, and let someone know where you're going.

Reporting

You can report inappropriate behaviour, harassment, a suspicious account, a safety concern, spam or anything else from a family's profile or your conversation with them. Reports are reviewed by our team.
